We each possess professional accreditations from the US Green Building Council’s LEED program and have been approved by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as a continuing education provider. SDC is also an approved education provider through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and has several Green Advantage™ -certified trainers on staff. Our team of professionals is regularly called upon to serve on green industry councils, speak at green building conferences and author articles on the topic of sustainable design.

As founder and Managing Principal of SDC, Sandra draws from over 18 years of advanced experience sustainable design projects and organizational programs to serve developers, architects and builders with expert green building/ LEED consulting and process management. In addition to managing the firm and providing quality assurance for projects managed from SDC's Richmond office, Sandra continues to actively manage projects, focusing on Sustainable Program Development and Green Building Consulting for k-12 and office building projects. Beth provides project management support and technical assistance on multifamily residential, schools , and neighborhood development projects. She also provides technical reviews and recommendations on landscape design and plant lists, focusing on water efficient landscaping practices.

Bridget focuses on providing sustainability consulting primarily in the commercial sector. Bridget is also a certified instructor for the green building training system GreenAdvantage™.

Dan provides project support for green building projects including neighborhood developments and multi-family buildings, as well as providing sustainable existing buildings operations and management support for office buildings.

Elizabeth (Zeba) Floyd manages a wide range of green building projects including corporate offices, higher education facilities, multi-family residential buildings, libraries, retail projects, and government facilities. Elizabeth is also a certified instructor for the green building training system GreenAdvantage™.

Jessica provides green building project support a range of building types, including k-12 schools, recreational facilities, office buildings, and higher educational facilities.

Linda actively manages projects while supporting architects, designers and developers in pursuing LEED certification for office buildings, commercial interiors, schools and institutional projects. Linda also provides specification editing in support of LEED and green building practices as well as training building professionals in LEED documentation and sustainable design best practices.

Patrick provides support to design and construction teams pursuing LEED certification by reviewing construction submittals and conducting research on green materials and other sustainable opportunities that could be implemented to projects. He is also an instructor for the green building training system GreenAdvantage™.

As Associate Principal and Office Manager of SDC’s Washington, DC office, Steven provides quality assurance for all projects managed in Maryland and the DC Metropolitan area. He also serves as SDC's in-house expert on sustainable building operations and maintenance, and provides process management and consulting services to office building owners and developers for existing buildings.

Avneet brings more than 18 years of experience in master planning and design of a diverse range of projects including institutional, educational, and residential buildings, Avneet’s intense involvement in the design of a 2,400 acre city built for the Indian Navy in Ehzimala, Kerala steered her towards her passionate commitment to sustainability. She has also been actively involved with architectural education, developing curriculum and teaching Design & Construction studios. Avneet provides guidance for neighborhood developments, multi-family residences, institutional and recreational facilities, higher education facilities, and k-12 schools. Avneet is also an approved Green Communities Charrette Facilitator.

Bobby provides project support for green building projects including office buildings, higher education facilities, and mixed use developments.

Gwenedd provides project support for a wide range of green building projects including program development and LEED process management. In addition, she provides energy modeling analysis and support as needed for projects managed by both SDC offices.

Kara focuses on the development of green educational facilities, commercial office buildings, and residential and mixed-use developments. Kara also leads trainings and workshops on a wide variety of green building topics. Additionally, Kara is an approved Green Communities Charrette Facilitator.

As Training Coordinator for SDC, Leslie Philip coordinates and assists in the development of trainings for both offices.

Rebecca primarily managesoffice, higher education, multi-family, recreation, and library projects. She also provides LEED training courses and presents at conferences throughout the year on LEED, green product labeling and certification, and other sustainability issues. She coordinates SDC's specifications reviews for all firm projects.
