At 488-acres, this large-scale mixed-use development will raise the bar for sustainability in Prince George's County, Maryland. Its initial phase will be 132 acres, consisting of office, retail, and residential units.
The Yards (SE Federal Center), Washington, DC
The Yards is approximately 42-acre mixed-use development in Washington, DC, on a site formerly known as the Southeast Federal Center. Currently in LEED ND Pilot status.
Southwest Waterfront Redevelopment, Washington, DC
The Southwest Waterfront redevelopment is a 40-acre property ideally located within the nation's capitol, convenient to tourists and District residents alike. Serving as a working model for waterfront mixed-use redevelopment in an urban core, it is a model public-private project that will raise the benchmark for affordability and sustainability to new levels locally and nationally. Currently in LEED ND Pilot status.
North Brunswick Transit Oriented Development, North Brunswick, NJ
This large complex project will gain support through demonstration of innovative green development strategies. Green site, neighborhood and building scale strategies will be explored with participation in meetings and presentations in New Jersey.
Reston Heights, Reston, VA
Master Plan will comprise approximately 35-acres and is currently in the early concept phase. As well, the Master Plan will incorporate existing hotel structures and approximately 3.6 million square feet of new speculative office area (some of which is currently under construction), retail space and multi-family residential buildings. The project is to incorporate sustainable design criteria and may pursue LEED certification for individual new buildings at a later date. Currently in LEED ND Pilot status.
Glenmont Metrocentre, Glenmont, MD
This 30-acre mixed-use development at the Glenmont Metro in Montgomery County will include 6-multifamily buildings of 4-story or greater. A number of townhouses and approximately 80-100,000 sf of retail with the possibly of some live-work units. Currently in LEED ND Pilot status.
Falls Church City Center, Falls Church, VA
This 5-acre site, comprising a speculative office building, bowling alley, apartment building and hotel/condo complex will be a model for Falls Church. Currently in LEED ND Pilot status.
