Elizabeth Floyd, AIA, LEED AP

Elizabeth Floyd is a registered architect and a LEED accredited professional with over nineteen years of experience in architecture and interior design with an emphasis on sustainable design approaches. She is known for her commitment to client satisfaction, design excellence and consensus-based problem solving and management.

Her professional experience includes work on her own as Ztech in Houston, for Kaplan/McLaughlin/Diaz in San Francisco and in Washington, DC for David M. Schwarz Architectural Services, HOK, RTKL and Mancini Duffy. Her work on a wide range of project types enables her to hone organizational, technical and communication skills for a diverse group of clients whose projects goals are varied and often complex. The projects she has managed or been directly involved with include Corporate Offices in the US and abroad, Multi-family residential buildings, Concert Halls, Libraries, Restaurants, Baseball Parks, Retail projects and Government facilities such as the U.S. Capital Visitor Center.

With Sustainable Design Consulting, Elizabeth provides project management and consulting for various LEED-related commercial buildings. Her commitment to integrating multi-disciplinary team solutions and technical excellence as well as her passion regarding sustainable and ecological aspects of the built environment are fundamental tenets of her commitment to high quality design, client comfort and project delivery.
